Fade Away: 4-Dominic's View
The rest of the day flew by, and before I knew it, it was the final day of school for the year. Turned out I did pass Science, with a C+. The rest of my marks consisted of Cs and Bs.
Jennifer on the other hand had pretty much aced her subjects as usual, only getting a couple that were any less than an A. Even then, they were B+.
As per usual, there were no classes. Instead, there were activities and such around the school. Of course, Jen and I had chosen to go to the Xbox room, and currently she had one of the controllers.
She and 3 boys were playing Black Ops 2: Free For All. Jen had a 7 point lead, with a score of 28.
"Behind you," I informed; screen cheating for her. With immense speed, she turned her character around and killed him. Someone from the front row called out "Bullshit!", only to be told off by the supervising teacher.
Jennifer laughed. "They get so worked up over it. Seriously, it's just a game."
I could only laugh at the irony of the sentence. "Have you not hea

I looked over at Dominic, who appeared as if he was thinking so hard that his head could explode. I began to chew on my pencil; it was all I could do to stop myself from bursting out laughing at his facial expressions.
As I let out a tiny giggle, he flipped me off.
I had to give the man credit though; he was genuinely trying as hard as he could. He was pretty devastated last time he failed and obviously didn't want to repeat that experience.
Sadly for him, we only had two minutes left before second period.
I had already finished, and was growing ever so bored. With nothing else to do, I watched the arms of the classroom clock slowly rotate; half wishing that it'd tick slower for Dom, and half wishing the bell would just go already.
Looking back over at Dominic, I noticed he was on the last question. He only had 30 seconds left. The suspense was killing me.
I was so bored; watching Dominic race against the clock was the only way I could entertain myse

I couldn't help but laugh at Molly's authority towards Jennifer as I threw my phone into my backpack. You'd never guess she was younger.
Mind you, it's only by a couple of minutes.
I walked out to the living room, and sure enough, my parents weren't there. They never were; it was always their jobs first before anything else. Not that I really cared though, I practically got the house to myself, giving me the freedom to do whatever I wanted.
Grabbing my car keys, I ran out of the house and drove to school.
"You can't just say no! I mean, it's Tristan Bellard, for god's sake," I overheard Molly exclaim.
"I know it is, and that's why I'm saying no. He's an asshole; he'll date any and every girl he can, and then dump them on their arse, just because he can," Jennifer stated, waving her arms around to prove her point.
As I came closer, I could see that Jen had her back faced toward me, with Molly directly in front.
Jennifer sighed. "Honestly, I think boys who date every sin

"Open up my eager eyes... 'Cause I'm Mr. Brightside!" Brandon Flowers sang from my radio. Mr. Brightside was playing, and I couldn't help but lose myself to it's tune. It was so loud I almost didn't hear my phone ring. Turning the volume down, I answered the call.
"Yellow?" I asked, since I hadn't bothered to check who it was.
A voice I knew all too well replied. "Heya Jen." It was my best friend, Dominic Crawford. "Looking forward to the Science exam today?"
I groaned at the thought. "Don't remind me. At least I studied for it; I assume you studied a fair amount of chemistry last night with... Christina, was it?"
"Well, if you put it that way." I could tell he was smirking through the microphone. "Are you sure her name was Christina? I thought it was Katherine."
"No, pretty sure Kate was last week." I began packing my bag. "Is there a particular reason you called?"
There was a moment's si
